Default PDF is adding a page, that .docx doesn't have.

This is my docx:

This is my PDF:

Why is there an extra page?

( I just made a thread with the same question, but on a different part of my book. I found out how to fix that part, and deleted the thread, but this one still has me stumped. )

Thanks.

It's probably due to the fact you're using a different odd/even page layout and your PDF-generation process is trying to ensure your odd pages all start on the same side of the paper when printed on a duplex printer. How, exactly, are you creating the PDF?

I just go to Save-As in Word, and select PDF.
Thanks for the suggestion!

If you don't want the added page(s), you may need to use a 3rd-party PDF 'printer' like Adobe Acrobat Pro (Version 8 of this industry standard is available as a free download), GhostScript, Nitro PDF or PDF995.
