Default Applying And Removing Letterhead

In my office, there are times when we send hard copies of documents (thus print to our letterhead) and other times that we send digital copies (thus must have an image of our letterhead on the document). Our letterhead incorporated a top logo, center watermark, and then bottom legal stuff.

Is there a simple method to "turn on and off" the letterhead, so we can easily print to .pdf or print to our printer.

My original thought was to create a template that had the image of our letterhead inserted as a watermark. Then to attach the template to any document that requires it. For some reason the watermark does not show up though.

In order for this to be utilized, it must be a quick and easy method (my staff is not the most computer literate). Otherwise, inserting an image as a watermark would suffice.

Thanks.
