Default Inserting Section Break

Hi,

When I insert a Next Page Section Break, it creates a blank space at the top of the page which I can't seem to get rid of. Any idea why it does this and how I can avoid it?

I'm using word 2010 on a PC.

Many thanks.

Gary

See if Spacing Before has been applied to the paragraph (style) following the break. Spacing Before isn't suppressed at a section break.
