Default need help with document protection

I am trying to put together a form in word so my shipping department can just tab thru and enter the information that is needed. I can lock it on my end, but when i email the attachment to them, it doesn't stay locked. I need them to have the locked copy.

I am using a word document with Legacy controls,( they are using office 2003). Is that correct.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You can click the Office Button, Prepare, Mark as Final. Then the Word document cannot be modified.
