Table of content breaking mid-way and starting on following page...solution?
I'm completing my 'table of contents' section for a paper. Half-way through the table, it decides to break and start on the next page. I inserted an actual table hoping that by entering the information in the rows of the table, it would stick to the same page. However, the table still broke mid-way and started on the following page. It broke at the mention of bullet I. but the rest of the table II, III, etc follow perfectly.
What to do please? (advice urgently needed) Many thanks |

break
You don't say how you are creating the TOC. Are you using the automatic function (References/Table of Contents)? The only thing that comes to mind is that the style of the item where the table is breaking has paragraph formatting of either "keep with next" or "page break before". However, neither of these should operate in an automatically generated TOC.
You migh try creating a line space -- a return -- between the bullet, or line before it, and the next line and see if that changes your result. |

Breaks addendum
I found this on another forum. Perhpas the problem of creating the TOC in a content control relates to your issue as well?
