Hi all

I want to highlight the initial cap letter of the first word of each sentence and each paragraph in a Word document so that I can ignore these words and search for other (and so non-highlighted) initial cap words. I can highlight the initial caps of words beginning sentences but not paragraphs. Any idea how to do this for paragraphs - is there any wildcard that I can enter and replace with highlight?

You can Find the capitals that being any word with:
Find = <[A-Z]
There is no Find expression that will locate only capitals that begin a sentence. You can find capitals that begin a paragraph, via:
Find = ^13[A-Z]
but be aware that, if you use a replacement expression with this, it will apply to the preceding paragraph break as well. Anything more spohisticated requires a macro.

Thanks, exactly what I needed for paragraphs! For sentences, I just replace '. [A-Z]' and '. [A-Z]' with highlight
