Conditional Formatting and/or Macro for Character Insertion?
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to convert a text file I scanned with ABBYY Fine Reader. I want to insert a character between the term and the definition, and this would be feasible possibly using the fact that the term is capitalized. But, that's my only working hypothesis. I think that if there were a way to get Word to recognize the sets of capital letters that lead a new line (there are some interspersed), I might be able to create a macro from there. Can anyone help? Much appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

Can Word's search/replace recognise \([A-Z][A-Z][A-Z]\) and substitute \r\1? In other words, realise it's found a string of three capital letters and replace them with a paragraph mark followed the same string?
You could also try the same approach in a text editor, then paste the text back into Word and apply any formatting. |
