Default Urgent help!

Oh man, I have to submit my projects documentation by tomorrow.. I worked all day on it and I can't find it anymore.. i have no idea where it is.

Wait I think i should explain better..

I got an email from a friend containing a part of the documentation, we are working on it together. I have the live mail thing that downloads messages directly from the desktop without accessing hotmail, anyway.... I right clicked on it; opened the file inside without saving it elsewhere and started working on the documentation.

Out of habbit i press ctrl s after every 5 mins or so, anyway i closed the documentation after 5 or 6 hrs of working on it and i am sure it was saved because it didn't warn me about closing a file without saving it......

But now when I open it from the email client, i can't see the updates i made!! Please help.. ican't even find the backup..

If i don't find this i am dead.. screwed... its all over.. yes everything depends on this.. please help me find it.

It should be saved in a temporary folder, this article dealt with the same problem.

Edit: Made a test, the file being edited was in the Temporary Internet Files folder, but after I closed live mail client, it disappeared.

I managed to recover it, I hit My Computers. Right clicked on drive c, hit properties and selected disc clean up. In the new window all you have to do is highlight temporary internet files' and then click on 'view files'. You will be lead to a new window with 6 or 7 folders, sweep through each one of them until you find your document.
