Default Page Header and Page Numbering for Technical Book

I have the following Book layout:
(1.) Book Title Page
(2.) Table of Contents Pages
(3.) Chapter 1 Pages, and so on

My table of contents is setup automatic based on Heading 1, Heading 2 and Heading 3 marking. When I do an update table of contents, it is doing it correctly.

Question:

1. I want to start Roman Numeral numbering at (2.).
2. I want to start regular numbering starting with page 1 at (3.). I want the pageheader also include the current Heading 2 title.

I am writing a database design and SQL programming book. I am not really a Word expert.

Thanks.

Thanks Charles. I am almost there!!!

I have:

1. Section 3 with regular page numbering starts with 1 and running header (styleref Heading 2) - simply fantastic
2. Section 2 (table of contents) with roman page numbering starts at I and running header which I don't want here
3. Section 1 (title, copyright pages) with header which I don't want at all - no running header, no numbering

I think the sections are not linked because I see the link-to-previous button as active.

When I remove the running header in Section 2, it removes it everywhere.
Summary, I don't want:
1. Header in Section 1
2. Running header in Section 2 (only roman numerals page numbering)

Thanks.

I made sure that Linked to Previous Section was off, then I could delete part or the entire header in the title section and table of contents.
