Default How do I get rid of a grid in Word?

Somehow I added a a grid to Word when I was trying to design a chart. The grid looks a lot like graph paper - blue lines making up small squares. Now it's there all the time, even when I start a new document or completely restart Word. How to I get rid of it, or default back to original settings? Thanks.
