Default Is it possible to link images to formatting styles?

I am creating a set of documents with a custom template. As part of formatting I want to create header styles that have a small icon associated with them. The intent is that as I enter a new header, I want the image to appear along with the header and not have to paste in these images every time that I change styles.

I know that I can create letter head or a watermark, but in these cases the image is fixed in place. I want to the images to be automatically inserted at the time and place where I select the header style.

I this possible in Word? I know that it is in other kinds of publishing SW.

You can create a style with a picture bullet.

That's a great idea. I'll put that in my bag of tricks. Problem is that the icon size is linked to the font size, which makes it pretty much unrecognizable given the fonts that I am using. So I'd need a way to make the icon size independent of the font.

I'll keep trying.

Thanks

I understand that image size will be an issue when the image is added as a bullet. As an alternative, you could create an AutoText entry which inserts the image. It will be more difficult to manage, though.
