Cool Type spacing and point sizes in Word

Hy there,

I'm a designer who uses InDesign and QuarkXPress, so I'm used to controll every aspect of typeface usage.
But now I must make a standard layout (call it a template) in Word for several people. These people have no experience with the layout packages.

I realise Word is a text processer pur sang.

I have the following questions:
Is it possible to alter the spacing (in points) between the individual sentences? I know there is a coarse way to change the spacing, but I want smaller steps.
Normally in Word you can set a typeface in whole point sizes. Is it possible to give a typeface for example a size of 10.5 points?

I'm using Word from Office 2003.

Greetz,
Funky

Yes, it is. In Word, you can change the font size to whatever you want (including decimals) by clicking on the drop-down font size list and 'typing in' the size you want rather than selecting one from the drop down list. You can also go to the Font dialog and type in the size you want rather than selecting one from the list.

To change the line spacing, go to the Paragraph dialog box from Tools (Word 2003), and change line spacing to 'exactly', then the number of points, or 'multiple' and something like '1.25'.

Cheers,
Andrew
