Default Editing multiple labels

Hi All,

I've imported an excel spreadsheet with names and address' into the avery add in. I have used the L7165 (8 up) label template (word 2010).
I have multiple pages of these labels that I want to format. I'm trying to center horizontally (left justified) and vertically every label. When I highlight one page I am able to use the Table Tools, Layout, Alignment menu but if I highlight more than one page the alignment section is greyed out. Can anyone help please?

Many thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

If the 'import' was via a mailmerge, the correct approach would have been to format the single page of labels in the mailmerge main document beforehand. That way, the output would be correctly formatted.

What you probably now have is a separate table on each page, with Section breaks separating the pages. If you delete the Section breaks (which you can do via Find/Replace, where Find = ^b and Replace = nothing), the separate tables will probably become one. You can then process the lot in one action. Do note that you may have to uncheck the 'allow row to break across pages' option for all rows (if it's set).

Used mailmerge and after a bit of messing around got the desired result.

Thanks macropod.
