Backstyle transparent does not work
Hi all,
My name is Jordy and I'm having a problem with the backstyle of an ActiveX label not being transparent while I selected transparent. I've created a macro where I import data from Excel into Word by means of using an ActiveX label in Microsoft Word. The background of the word document is grey so I would like the label to be transparent instead of being white. Initially it used to work by selecting the backstyle of the label to be transparent. However in the last couple of days this solution doesn't seem to work anymore. The label remains white even though the option transparent has been selected. When I change transparent into opaque and back to transparent the label change sto transparent. However when printing to pdf it prints opaque. Also when going to design mode in word the label is white when transparent is selected, so the problem is not the printing to pdf. I've also tried to add the VBA function: Thisdocument.Label1.BackStyle = fmBackStyleTransparent but it doesn't work either. Next to the above I've also tried to copy one of the labels that I originally created, but the same problems appears to be there. Finally I've created a completely new word document to try if the problem still exists, but unfortunately it still does. Hopefully anyone knows the solution or a workaround for this problem. Any help is appreciated since it already tooks me 20 hours of trial and error without solving the problem. If any additional information is required, please let me know. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Jordy |
