Default Macro stops on mac

Hello,

Thanks to this forum I have a macro that does the following.

I insert pictures. ( I do this without the macro.)
the images have a size which allow them to be placed with 3 next to each other.

Than I run the macro. it places an enter after every third image and a tab after every image.

this works perfectly both on mac and windows pc... if there aren't to many images.

When I have a lot of images and I run the macro on a windows pc, Word freezes for a while, but after that everything is ok.

When I do this on a mac, not all images are adjusted.

Can this be fixed?

Thanks

There isn't a chance of anyone here 'fixing' anything when you haven't supplied the code you're using.

In attachment the document. Due to file size limitation I only added a few images. But for example Word can handle 100 pages full of images, and mac can't.

(It was your macro by the way! again many thanks!)

There are no macros in your attachment. Indeed, being a docx file, it's incapable of having one.

There are no macros in that document, either.

How frustrating.

I think I have some saving issues today.
I've added the template, but without the images. I got an error when I tried saving it with images. This, clearly, isn't my best day. I'm very sorry.

I ran the macro on my laptop using a copy of your document in post #3 with 1200 images - replicated by copying. All were processed correctly in just 2 seconds.

I just did some tests on a macbook and it seems that he refuses to complete the whole document
When I have a document with 39 pages full of image it goes well until page 29
When I have a document with 19 pages it goes well until page 15
When I have a document with 9 pages it goes well until page 8.

On a windows pc I don't have any problem with a large document. Only on mac

In that case, it's a problem with the Mac, not with the macro. Whether the problem is with the Word installation or the Mac itself, I can't say - I don't even own a Mac. You might try running whatever utilities the Mac has for validating application installations to check the Office/Word installation. As you seem to have access to a PC, though, a simple expedient would be to use that for the process - or even to use the macro in https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...html#post47919 that I pointed you to in the original discussion (https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...res-table.html).
