Question Is there a macro to convert superscripted endnotes to active footnotes?

Hello,

I'm converting superscripted endnote numbers to active Word footnotes, and I'd like to use a macro to do it. A sample is attached; the actual doc is about 200 pages with about 900 endnotes.

The Word doc (Office Pro Plus 2016) has superscripted endnote numbers (style=Endnote Reference), and numbered endnotes (style=Endnote Text) at the end of the doc. The endnote comma separators have their own style so that .find selects "1" from "1, 2, 3" and not "1, 2, 3" (style=Endnote Reference Comma).

I appreciate the tips and techniques I have learned from this forum over the years. This is my first question - Thank you!

Appreciate the referrals to

My docs will never have a single endnote at the end of a single paragraph.

The macro RelinkEndnotes() is sort of a superEditor in my case since it deletes all selected text. :-)

If you read either post, you'll see they say you need to select the footnote/endnote range to be processed; in the case of the second one, you're also told that failing to do so will result in the macro assuming everything from that point to the end of the document will be treated as the footnote/endnote range. The second one also presupposes the references for the notes to be converted are enclosed in <>.
