Exclamation Need macro for automatic point value insertion based on the number of answer choices selected

I need the macro to insert/select the Point Values automatically based on the number of answer choices selected.

Point Values contain the values in Drop-down List Content Control as 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06.

When i select the answer(s) as "X" (which is styled as "Correct Answers"), automatically select the point value from the Drop-down control.

Please can anyone help me out on this?

You'll need to supply a document with some content demonstrating your requirements. You can attach a document to a post via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

I don't see any reference to your 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 in the attachment (as either the dropdown display text or values), so it's not apparent how those function.

Revised file attached. The drop-down control automatically select the values based on the number of "X"s selected from the answer choice.

if "X" value is = 01

if "X"
"X" = 02 etc...

Kindly let me know if anything need.

There's no attachment to your latest post, and your previous attachment appears unchanged.

So how do the 'Correct Answer' selections relate to the 'Total Points' and why do you need a dropdown for what should presumably be a fixed value?

"Correct Answer" selection is do manually, based on the questions, so the point value no need to put in the drop-down.

I need only to display the point value (either 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06) maximum requirement is 06, based on the number "X"s selected. It is select either as one's or multiple times based on the questions.

But there's only 4 possible 'Correct Answer' selections...

The sample attachment is having only the four answer choices. Sometimes it will extend up to 6 choices based on the questions.

Try the attached. Note that I've replaced your 'Total Points' dropdown with a plain text one titled 'Total'.

It's in the document... Press Alt-F11 to open the VBA Editor.
