Updating all instances of a field?
Hi, possibly a really simple request but I'm designing a template which will be for clients and the name will change for the client on each new project. The client's name is littered throughout the document, is there a macro that can be done which could look up the client name when input on the main page, find all instances of it in the document and change to reflect?
Many thanks in advance Paul |

You don't need a macro. You can use a linked Content Control instead.
Everywhere you need to put the company name, go to Insert > Quick Parts > Document Property > Company Note that you will need to use a docx format. This won't work if the document gets saved back to doc format before the company name has been added.

That's a very cool little feature, thank you very much :-)
