Cool How to change different editors names In MsWord documents

My wife edits documents and she has people to assist her. How can we change the different editors names in track changes to one name throughout the document I think this can be done with a VB macro, but my knowledge of VB is basically nil.

You can't. Although the Revision Author name can be retrieved with VBA, it is a read-only property.

Hi
Thanks - are you sure, there is a function on MsWord which will change the name to "Author" - I would prefer to have my wifes name.

Cheers

Being able to set the author name is one thing (and doesn't require VBA), changing it is entirely different.
