Macros doing weird things
I created a macro to alter the formatting of a word document. It does stuff like indent paragraphs, double space, change the font, etc etc. Well, it did some stuff it was not supposed to. For one, it randomly bolded about 20 pages of text (out of 500+). Does anyone know why something like this would happen? I thought maybe the processor on my computer was too slow so i tried it again on another computer with a faster processor, and it did the same thing.
Also, the macro is supposed to change any text in italics to underlined/not italics. It did this about 90% of the places, but in some places it ADDED italics to text that was not italicised before, or it underlined the text but also left it italicised instead of changing it to regular, or it just flat out didn't do anything. Why would these things happen? Is it a bug in word? Is it word trying to do too many things at once and messing up? |

You should put the code of your macro here so that the experts can examine it and diagnose, since it is certainly in the code.
