Hi
I am just entering in to this forum, and I am learning word macro through this forum.


I would like to use a mail merged document containing data from excel
I would like to use number to word for ceratin portion of document Prefixed with " Rupees" and spell the number to text for thouse portions
can you please as to how to go about this.

In that case, you don't need a macro - you need to use the appropriate field coding & field switches. For example:
Rupees { MERGEFIELD Value \* CardText \* Caps}
where 'Value' is the name of the field in your data source and the braces (i.e. {}) are created in the document via Alt-F9.

Thanks a lot
When it is giving a huge gap beween two words it is appearing one thousand for 1000.
I would like to start the word with " Rupees" for each and every figure and within the bracket

Rs.1000
(Rupees One thousand Only)

can you please help

If you want parentheses around 'Rupees ' and the mergefield, with ' only' before the closing bracket, then add the text to your mailmerge main document - this is basic text entry and has nothing to do with mailmerge. I have no idea what you mean about a 'huge gap' - there is only a single space between each word pair.
