Your xml code is broken - the forum software has turned some of the code into symbols. You might get better results if you wrap it in HTML or PHP tags. You do this via the relevant buttons on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

That said, you might get more help if you explained what the code does. I'm not sure how many people here are fluent in xml (I'm not).
