How do you link the text in a cell to auto fill in the footer?
My document has a 1st page header table. I want two cells in this first page header table to repeat as a header on all the remaining pages of the document. Can i make that happen? Or even anything similar to that? Basically i just want the text from one or two cells in the document header table (1st page) to repeat on every page. You can do that by applying a separate, unique Style name to the contents of the two cells in question, then using StyleRef fields in the header (or footer, depending on which you want to use - your thread title refers to footers) to refer to those Styles. If you don't want the information replicated in the first page's header/footer, format the document with a 'different first page' layout and add the StyleRef fields to the second page's header/footer.
PS: Please don't type large amounts of text in capitals; it's considered shouting at people (i.e. rude).

thanks. i'm surprised you could even tell what i was talking about.
i just noticed the title i used didn't match the text in the post. The title described what i was originally trying to do. Then i rethought that and edited the post accordingly without changing the title. |
