Automatic word updating in table
I have a table at the top of each page of my document that is identical on every page. I am wanting the section of each table I am updating with new text to be automatically updated in each identical table at the top of each other page of the document. I have been having to copy and paste the info I have changed in one table to each other table, which ends up quite time consuming. Just wondering if there are any word tools that would be able to do this? Thanks |

So why not put the table into the page header? That way, you'll only need one copy (in the header) and it will appear on all pages.

An alternative to Paul's suggestion of to bookmark the table and use cross references to repeat the data, albeit cross references do not update automatically so you will have to force an update after making changes to the first table (CTRL+A then F9, or use a macro - see http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm )
