Repeat header of a table, what about captions ?
Hello again,
I have another question. If you have a very long table, that is spread over several pages (2 and above), I know you can tell Word to repeat the first row in each page quite easily. Can you do the same with the title of the table ? If the title is a row, can you repeat 2 rows ? And if the title is a caption ? Thank you ! |

With my usual layouts, I'd do it like this: select the rows you want to repeat, then use the table properties dialogue. The table caption and the row headers in the screenshot repeat at the top of each new page.

I'd simply add a borderless top row to the table and put the caption in that and include that row as one of the header rows. This avoids having both the caption and its cross-reference on the first page.
