Automatical backgroundcolor change based on cell value
Hello, I have a table in words with dropdown menu's in certain cells. the selection creteria in the dropdownmenu are words (open, closed etc.) Now I want that the cell's backgroundcolor automatically change based on the selected criteria from the dropdown menu.
I can manage to do this in Excel. You don't need any special kind of macro for that. But now I want to apply this in a table created in Words 2010. Can anyone help me with this? |

Hi ChiCotje,
See attached. These documents were originally created for other threads/forums. One document uses content controls (for Word 2007 & later), the other uses formfields (for all Word versions). Both solutions require a macro.
