Default Inconsistent Formatting

Whenever I insert a table into a word document, the text in the last row (except for the last line of text in that row) is slightly darker than the rest of the table text or document text. If I highlight the text with the cursor, the highlighting is also darker (except for last line). Have tried clearing formatting; cannot find how to fix it. Also happens at the end of each page (i.e. when table crosses into another page, text in last row on that page is darker).

I can get the text to "look" normal if I add another row at the end and leave it blank, but cannot do it with tables that cross pages.

Weird.

Hi Yeg V,

Does this affect the printout? If not, it may just be a display issue. In that case, the solution may be as simple as installing an updated display driver from the maker's website.

I am having the exact same problem and have attempted to troubleshoot it but to now avail. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? It strongly believe this goes way beyond a "display problem".

Thanks.

You may strongly believe this goes way beyond a "display problem" but, unless it affects the printout, that's all it is. If it does affect the printout, then the question of what table Styles you're using arises, as some Styles are designed to format the last row differently.
