Hi Mike,

Apparently Google Chrome is causing similar issues. Do you have that installed?

Hi Paul, yes, I'm viewing this forum via Chrome browser. But have been using it for some time, so unless it is a recent update that has introduced the problem it seems unlikely.

But I have just gone back to the previous document that I generated OK in January and I can copy table columns (and complete tables) to a new document OK, so perhaps the problem has "gone away in the night"!

I shall be watching for any regression and noting what changes I might have made...

Best wishes and thanks for the help, Mike.

Hi Akshay, the answer is yes and no... The problem has, as I said, gone away and I have just checked that behaviour is still as expected. But I do not know what the cause was.

I still have Skype and Chrome running, but not that "Skype Click-to-Call browser" that macropod mentioned. Maybe I had not only to de-install it but also re-boot which perhaps I did not do immediately. (My PC runs overnight to record wildlife.)

But I see that you system is much newer than mine, so it would be remarkable if your problem had the same cause as mine...

Good luck, Mike.

Thanks a bunch Mike!

Problem is resolved. Uninstalling skype - "Click on call" did the trick.
