Default Password protecting folders

Is it possible to password protect a folder in Windows, which will restrict access to that folder?

I know that you can password protect individual files, but I want to protect the entire folder

I answered a similar question recently in this very forum: http://www.msofficeforums.com/window...passwords.html. Did you read it?
