Question Help, old xp publisher file

I have win 7 on my current Drive. This one does not have MS publisher
I have win xp on another drive, that I can boot up to. It has MS publisher.
I found an xp publisher file I have been looking for on the XP drive and need to print it out.

Problem is the new HP printer I have does not have XP drivers available, and I do not have Publisher for win 7. Really do not want to have to get a copy for 1 print out.

Is there a way I can convert the file for use (and printing) from MS word for Win 7?

Or is there another solution available?

Thanks.

As you say you only want to print the PUB file and not be able to change/edit the PUB file - on the XP machine, you could convert/print the PUB file to PDF. You may need a PDF printer to do this if the XP machine hasn’t got one.
CutePDF being an example: > http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
You’d could then transfer the PDF to say a Flash Drive and transfer to another machine to print out the PDF.
You could also email the PDF as an attachment to whoever also and the receiver can print out the PDF.

Alternatively and probably quicker, is to upload the PUB file to an online converter such as ZAMZAR: > https://www.zamzar.com/fileformats/pub - https://www.zamzar.com/

Follow the steps and receive your PDF via email to print out.
