I am using MS Project 2013 and the MS Support pages advise that the "Generic" field IS available in MSP2013.
Thanks |

If you are running the Standard version of Microsoft Project, the generic checkbox is not available. Generic resources only work in Project Pro in conjunction with Project Server

Thanks Julie. Obviously the Microsoft Support pages need updating.

I'm afraid that isn't the only page.
