Field name with Resource Names
Hola,
question: Is there a way in MS Project 2010 to have a field display the values/names of the resource sheet independently of the task? More detailed: I have a custom field "Contacts1" and "contacts2" which I would like to have the resource names as valid values. I want them to be independent of the actual "Resource Names" field and the task. I want to be able to select e.g. 3 names for "Contacts1" and another 4 for "Contacts2". So far I wasn't able to figure it out. Is there a formular I can use on the custom fields? I tried using "Resource Names" as field name and renaming to Contacts1 and Contacts2, however, in that case they're interlinked and when changing the values for one field, it changes the values for all fields with resource names Thanks in advance |

Sorry but none of the custom fields are multi-select like the Resource Names field.
You can create a text field with a lookup list, but you'll need to enter the resource names into the list definition and maintain the list manually. However, you cannot select more than one resource for the entry. |
