Why do my Resources have different Project Start Dates in Team Planner ?
Dear MS office forum community
Help Help Help me please I have created a projects portfolio overall plan in MS project 2010 professional. I have 23 lines with 23 project titles, start and end dates, associated resources. Some project dates were manually entered some dates where determined automatically. I have been looking at the Team planner view to check concurrent project involvement for each member of my team, in order to check overallocation. I picked up that some resources get involved earlier or later on projects which is weird as I gave them the same % of involvement ? How can I remediate to this and see all resources start and finish on common projects at the same time ? |

If you have used Resource Leveling, Project will allow different resources assigned to the same tasks to start at different times.
The difference in task colors is the difference between manually scheduled and autoscheduled tasks. You can resolve differences in assignment start times through the Task Usage view. Look at the Start and Finish dates. |
