Project closes unexpectedly

Hi,

I am using Project 2007. From the past couple of days, a strange issue occurs.

I open Project, then open another project or document or excel, and copy data to the first Project file; the MPP closes. If I tab between files the MPP closes.

It works fine for a couple of hrs once I re-start the machine, but the problem starts again.

Can someone tell me what could be the problem here?

Do you have SP-3 installed to project? Are you running tight on system resources (RAM)?

Thanks Julie; I dont have SP-3 installed for MS Project; will do that and let you know if I see any change in the behavior.

Honestly, I am not sure how to check the system resources.

To check system resources, show the Task Manager. John and Andrew also offered some good suggestions on your post in the Technet Forum.
