Multiple projects on a single calender
Hi guys,
I'm new to project and I'm playing around with it at the moment. One thing that would really help me is if I could see all of the projects that were created on one calender as I run multiple projects at once. Is there a way to set this up so I can make sure resources aren't clashing on another project? |

Hi
You can create a Master Programme Plan and insert all your own projects as sub projects into your Programme Plan. That way you will see resource over allocations. Hope this helps. Good luck. Tony |

I'm afraid just combining the project files through a master project won't directly accomplish this. Even if the resources are named exactly the same, Project will not recognize them as the same people and will not automatically flag the resources as overallocated.
You will need to create a resource pool file and then share the resources to the individual project files. see: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/pr...045303641.aspx |
