Finding Earned Values for Different Baselines in a single project
Hi,
If i have a project which has two or more baselines: say Baseline 1,2 & 3. How will i find out out the total earned value (BCWP) for the entire project (till date)? Usually, we set Earned value calculations to Baseline (by default). But, as we re-baseline the schedule, we get newer planned values, like Baseline Cost 2, Baseline Cost 3. Now, if we need to find out earned value for the baseline 3, we need to set up Earned value calculation (Tools -> Options -> Calculation -> Earned Value -> Baseline 3. What is the solution. Please help. Thanks in advance. Pratik |

When you change the Earned Value calculations, it overwrites the other data. There are additional Number and Cost Fields that you could copy the Earned Value data from the differing baselines into.
To show earned value for the entire project, ensure you have the Project Summary task displayed. |
