working 4 10's, need help to set up
We are starting a new project and have proposed working 4-10 hour days/week. I need some help to set up the calendar and define the days so it coordinates to a 4 day work week. I set the calendar but I am un-sure how to define my days so they coordinate. I also end up showing 5 days/week on the schedule and must set Fridays as nonworking days in order to be accurate with the total durations. Can someone offer some set up advice on working days and calendars to make this accurate and not so cumbersome to manipulate as I work through the project. To complicate it a bit more we are working a night shift 5:30-4. Is it necessary to address these hours as well? |

Hi,
So, you are working 4 days per week, 10 hours per day from 5:30 pm to 4:00 am. I'm going to guess you start Monday at 5:30 pm and end on Friday at 4:00 am. For the purposes of the steps below, I am assuming you work from 5:30 pm until 12:30 am - break for 1/2 hour and re-start at 1:00 am and work until 4:00 am. If your break times are different - adjust as needed. In Project 2010: Project tab
