Default Make sure you're using the "Viewer Package."

Hi,

Are you sending the presentation out on a CD? If so have you tried this?
  1. Click on the Microsoft Office button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
  2. Click on Package for CD
  3. Make sure the linked files are included by default, and then click on the Options button
  4. Make sure there's a dot next to "Viewer Package."
  5. Click OK to get out of the box.
Now click on "Copy to CD" and see if the music plays when you send it out.

Or you can just start a folder, put the presentation and music in to the folder (Make sure the file path for the music is from the folder) Then just send the folder.

Is the sound file WAV format? If not I think you have to convert it to WAV to be embed with the Presentation, this of course for power point before 2010, Because power point 2010 you can embed MP3 sound files also.
