Unhappy FONTS behaving badly between XP and W7

Problems are as follows:


1. 1.“Myriad Pro” font behaving differently when the exact same powerpoint presentation (created on Windows 7) is opened up on Windows XP. Font changes when we change Windows Version - any help with this please - we are desperate



2. When PDF’s saved out of powerpoint also show the font differently on other computers eg: Drop shadows that are visible in powerpoint not showing up when viewing the pdf in Acrobat Reader and Fonts varying in thickness ie. Some are bold, some are thick
