Question Make an image 50% transparent / see thru?

Hi,

Is it possible to bring in a picture in powerpoint and make it 50% transparent (see through)? Meaning, make whatever is behind it come through 50%, because the picture is 50% transparent?

Thanks Much

I use this way:
1. Insert a rectangle from "Shapes"
2. right click the rectangle and click "Format Shape"
3. in the Fill, select "picture or texture fill"
4. hit the button "File", and then find your picture.
5. adjust "Transparency".
6. in the "Line Color" panel, select "No line".
7 Done!!!
