Default Multiple Animations

I am making an animation and need to use the movement animation, I have multiple objects that I need to move the exact same way (follow the same path from their position), I tried highlighting all the object and the changing the path on one, hoping it would change the others as well, it didn't work.

Does anyone know how to change the path of multiple objects at once?
Also, can you input an exact number for the path to follow (ex. go 13" to the left)?

Have you tried changing (or inserting) an animation for one object and then using the Animation Painter to apply it to the other ones?
