How do I use the Go To command?
I have added the Go To command to my ribbon, but no matter what I do, it is always grayed out. How do I get it to work? |

GoTo does NOT do what you expect (probably). It is NOt for jumping to slides numbers in edit mode.
It takes you to an added custom property on a slide. If you haven't added any it will be greyed out. If you don't know what this means it is probably not useful to you. |

Yes, jumping to a slide is what I hoped it would do. Is there another way to do that?

There is no menu to do that. Our usual method is to switch to Slide Sorter View and double click the needed slide.
If you do need a menu we have an Old addIn we were working on but didn't find useful. It provides both a ribbon menu and a right click menu to jump to slides by name. If this might be useful drop me an eMail john ATSIGNHERE pptalchemy.co.uk It works but is at your risk without support. |
