Why does PPT reformat my data when I copy & paste to another file? Blue backgrounds become brown and text size changes. |

Hi Maxwell, when you copy material from a presentation to another, PowerPoint will by default use the destination deck theme. This will impact things such as color, positioning and font of elements. After pasting, you can change that (i.e. select to use the source theme instead) by clicking the small icon besides the copied material. Look for a small "paste" icon, word "(Ctrl)" and a small arrow head in your target document.
