Lock certain elements to prevent editing, but allow some text to be edited WITHOUT losing animations
Hi,
I'm doing a presentation for a business that will be used as an induction presentation across the country. For that reason a majority of the 77 slides and their elements need to be locked and prevented from editing. However, on some slides text will need to be edited for location, names etc. It also still need to play the transitions and animations. Is this possible? Thanks! |

No easy way. It is POSSIBLE to modify the XML code to add shapelocks but this needs skill and in any case would take a while for 72 slides. OfficOne have an AddIn ShapeLocker to automate but it would still take a while and I think only works on a PC. The result would work on modern Macs though

Thanks for your reply.
I figured a work around. Put everything in the master template and leave out what I wanted to be editable. |
