"DESIGN feature" annoying color bar removal
I am largely a Powerpoint fan for the simple jobs I ask it to do, however.....
...... I am unable to find a way to remove an odd, maddeningly immovable color bar that consistently appears when I use the "Design" tab and choose one of the several samples. Many of the "design" samples offered I like, but they all come with the color bar underneath and some of the solid fill examples that "Design" offers also have a color bar at the right top of the screen. I have poked around with the "fill" options, but sometimes the annoying color bar at the top right goes away and sometimes it doesn't....plus.....I am not able to find the exact color in the sample offered by Powerpoint when you choose "design'. Specifically, I recently wanted to use the 5th color format sample from the left when you choose "design". Everything was good with the offered sample, but I couldn't make that color bar at the top right go away. I am sure I am ignorant of something obvious, but, man, how hard is it to offer a sample and then allow it to be chosen with an obvious click or two? Thanks to whoever has any thoughts on this. |

You can alter/delete in the Slide Master.

It would help if you said WHICH sample design you chose.
