Pull data from Excel to Powerpoint (not dynamically)

I would like to populate slides in Powerpoint from the data in an excel spreadsheet. What I'm trying to do is very basic. Essentially, I'm building birthday screens. I have the first name, last name, birthdate that I would like to pull from Excel instead of typing from the list into Powerpoint. Is there an easy way to do that?

I don't think there's a native way in Excel or PowerPoint. We have an SAddIn that can insert data from a csv file (easily made from Excel). It's not free but won't break the bank either. If it doesn't do what you need just ask for a refund.

Or of course you could write your own code.
