Modify "preset" animations in PowerPoint 2013
Hey all,
I just installed PP2013 and am still getting used to the new layout. I was an avid user of PP2007. One of the things I liked about PP2007 was frequently used animations would show up in the quick "add animations" button. With PP2013, however, the method of adding animations changes. See picture below: There are these new "quick animations" buttons in the ribbon that let you quickly add animations to objects in your slides (see green arrow above). However, one of the animations I use very often (Peek In) is only accessible if I click on the little drop down arrow, then select "More Entrance Effects", and then select it from the new window that pops up: My question: Is there a way to add certain animations to the "quick animations" ribbon buttons? Moreover, is there a way to re-order the items in the "quick animations" area? (is that even the right name for that area)? |

There's no real way to do this.
