Default How I make colors appear on a picture?

Really need some help.

I have a map of the USA on a slide. I want to color certain states in the picture when I click, and then when I click again have more states be colored, and then when I click again, have more states be colored, etc.

How can I do this? Any info or a link to something that explains this would be very helpful.

You would have to start with an image that can be ungrouped./ (Probably NOT what you have)

Download the USA map from http://msauer.mvps.org/graphics.htm

Unzip and insert into PPT.

If you UNGROUP TWICE the states can be animated individually.

Thank you. After lots of Googling I figured out I needed an ungrouped pic. I tried the one you linked to, but when I put in in PP, it won't give me the option to Ungroup it (that option is greyed out). I like this map - what am i doing wrong?

Also, once I get it ungrouped, how can I animate the states? I want a certain set to be blue, then when I click, another set of blue states will be added to the same map, etc. I'm new to this but really would like to learn. Thanks so much

The attachment in my post has the same map already ungrouped and an example of animation.

Try CTRL A on my slide to select everything >> COPY and the paste into your presentation.
