Can't seem to find all slides & content for new template I dl'd?
I am new to Powerpoint so maybe it is me, but I downloaded a free theme and have it installed & using it now as my default theme for my presentation.
http://www.presentationmagazine.com/...#comment-86655 But under “New Slides” I can only find/see the Title Slide showing the big leaf & the regular slide showing the leafs edge. But I can’t I find or use some inbuilt slides like “Process Flow”, “Bullet Point Slide 1 & 2″ & “Color Scheme” etc ? I can’t seem to see any of the other slides? Does anyone know where I can find them & how to get them to populate for my New Slides? Also, any idea where the little leaf image that you see on the “Process Flow” page? I can’t seem to find that either & really want to incorporate it into my presentation. For the record I am using Office/Powerpoint 2007 |

The download is just a collection of PowerPoint (version 2003) slides. It is NOT a template.

When I open the original downloaded file in PP I can see all of the different slides in the left bar but when I click the New Slide w/arrow button it brings up the menu for additional slides, but does not list them all?
When I had my new current presentation open that I was creating/working on in PP & was trying to decide on a different design, I added this download via the "Add Theme" at the end of the Design options, it superimposed these slides from the design over my entire presentation & looks great, but I'm still not seeing all of the different slide options under New Slide w/Arrow? I am using PP 2007 - could this perhaps be the reason? So you're saying this particular theme/set of slides I'm trying to use was created under PP 2003? So everything should be available to me in 2007 then correct? Instead of uploading this file via Design>Add New Theme, should I try uploading this particular file into PP a different way? Perhaps it didn't import all of it's features/slides? I think I can save particular slides & images/clip arts from PP to PP, I could easily migrate the missing slides & clip arts over, but I'd like to get it working correctly so I always have access to all parts of this file. I've attached a pic with a screen shot of what I see under New Slides |

What I am actually saying is this is NOT a template and basically the creator does not know what they are doing! Maybe they were using the subject!

Hmm that's sad to hear. I was really hoping for this file to work out.
What would make it a template vs just some slides with modification? (Sorry I'm new to PP) I guess I can just save the individual slides & import them in, there's only a couple. But the original does have nice font/color schemes that match with the slides so I'd want to make sure that data transferred too... Any idea where the other files or images/clip arts would be once I uploaded into PP? |
