Animation and Powerpoint?
Hi there,
First post. I need to animate aircraft flying on a powerpoint presentation. I need to teach positioning of multiple aircraft working on fires. Would this be possible with powerpoint? The animation controls are a little clunky. I'm looking for a top down view as if you were looking down on a fire from 10,000' and seeing the little aircraft maneuver around. Maybe there is a better program? Any hints or tips with powerpoint? Right now, I'm having a hard time with orientation of the aircraft as they turn. Thanks in advance! Corey |

Hi, hardcore,
You may not be interested in this anymore, but others may, so I'll go ahead and answer it. I'm using MS Office 2010 for PC, so your version is probably different. You would select the plane that should change direction first, click on the animations tab to reveal that ribbon. There you click on Add Animation. Scroll down to the last section that says "Motion Paths.". You have a choice of lines, arcs, loops, turns, and custom paths. I think you would want an arc (which you can adjust) or a custom path. Continue with the remaining planes. |
